The Lansing Lions volleyball team beat St. James Academy (Lenexa) for the 2021 KSHSAA 5A State Volleyball Championship. The Lions finished the season with a 40-1 overall record. Head Coach Lindsay Zych was well deserving of UKC Volleyball Coach of the Year honors as well as senior setter Caitlin Bishop who won UKC Volleyball Player of the Year.
