Fresh off a breakout junior season, Wentric Williams III is preparing to make some noise next season for the Liberty Blue Jays. Williams possesses a rare combination of strength, size, and speed, allowing Williams to run through arm tackles in the box or outrun defenders in the open field. Last fall, Williams racked up 1,355 rushing yards (150.6 ypg) and 18 total touchdowns. During the nine-game season, Williams battled injury but still garnered Missouri Class 6A 1st -Team All-State Honors. Williams is training this off-season so that he can be the Blue Jays workhorse next fall. We hope to check back in with Willams as he prepares for his senior season.
