Adrian Herrera, owner of A1 Films explains how he benefits as a director/cinematographer because of his background in athletics.
The Topeka, KS native started playing basketball at nine years old. He was dragged to the gym by coaches during the early years which built up a consistent routine for Adrian to follow. He later became a “gym rat” with an obsession for the game in his high school years. Adrian played varsity ball for Highland Park High School in Topeka. He won not one, but two class 5A state championships under legendary head coach Ken Darting. After high school Adrian played NCAA division II basketball for Pittsburg State University.
This life long basketball player found love for film and pursued his dream throughout college, and is now living that dream as a full time filmmaker running his own company (A1 Films). Now living in Kansas City he is producing incredible work that is being recognized world-wide.
